These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Rooted mobile app and website. By using Rooted, you agree to these Terms.

Use of Rooted

Rooted helps users save recipes, plan meals, manage household food information, and create grocery lists. You are responsible for the information you add and for keeping your account credentials secure.

Accounts and Households

Some features require sign-in. Household features may allow other members to view, edit, or delete shared household content. Only invite people you trust to a household.

Acceptable Use

• Do not use Rooted for unlawful, abusive, harmful, or fraudulent activity.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Do not upload content that you do not have the right to use.

User Content

You keep ownership of the recipes, photos, notes, and other content you add to Rooted. You grant us the rights needed to host, process, sync, display, and back up that content so the service can operate.

Third-Party Services

Rooted may rely on third-party services such as Firebase, Google sign-in, app stores, and device platform services. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.

Availability and Changes

Rooted is provided on an as-available basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms when needed. The latest version will be posted on this page.

Rooted is a planning tool and does not provide medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. You are responsible for checking recipes, ingredients, allergens, food safety, and suitability for your household.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rooted is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities.

Termination

You may stop using Rooted at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk, or use the service in a way that may harm Rooted or other users.
